What kinds of electrical work do I do?

I just do small jobs which take between half an hour to 1 day. So I can help with changing over lights, sockets, switches, fans, cooker hoods, cookers and hobs.

I also do minor installation work like a new socket or a couple of new lights or moving a switch.

You can also come to me for fault finding and repair, electrical inspection and testing (landlord EICR’s) and visual checks to your system.

Down lights are a speciality of mine and I can repair, replace or install new down lights for you.

Which areas do I cover?

My main areas are Crawley and the Mid Sussex area which includes East Grinstead and Haywards Heath plus all the surrounding villages / areas. I do also cover East Surrey including Horley and Redhill. Occasionally I travel slightly further to places like Horsham, Croydon and Brighton.

How long will I have to wait before you can come and look at / do my work?

As I just do small jobs, I can complete work ahead of yours quickly and get to you fast. Generally we’re talking days or maybe a week or two rather than many weeks or months.

How long will it take you to do the work I’ve asked for?

Again because I only do smaller jobs, I will generally complete them anywhere between half an hour to one day. Occasionally the work may go into a second day but I will advise you beforehand if this is likely.

Which kinds of work don’t you do?

I concentrate on smaller electrical jobs so that means I don’t do larger or more involved work such as rewires, consumer unit changes, new circuits, EV and solar installations or any kind of industrial work. Don’t worry though, there’s plenty of electricians out there who love this kind of work. A good place to find competent ones happy to do larger jobs would be on the NICEIC website (just Google NICEIC).
